Congratulations to our friend and Veterinary Preference fan 16-year-old Brandi Roenick and her Dutch Warmblood mare Pretty Lady, whose Region 5 team won the Gold Medal at the 2011 North American Young Rider Dressage Championships. Brandi then went on to win the Individual Competition Silver Medal! To qualify for this competition, she had to score in the top percentile of all young rider dressage competitors in the U.S. Brandi is from Scottsdale Ariz. and trains with her mother Tracy and Steffen Peters. She is one of the country’s best young riders, and we have no doubt, we will see her representing us at the Olympics in the future. We are pleased to be a part of Brandi’s success!
